Summary

When HPC came to Kala, they already had a very solid product and reputation, but their organic visibility did not match the quality of their offering.
Over the course of four years, we have built a healthcare SEO strategy that improved visibility for high-intent queries, reinforced topical authority, and increased enrollments from organic search.

Key results
Success story: +65% conversions in just 12 months thanks to a comprehensive healthcare SEO strategy.
Sustainable organic acquisition – SEO as a reliable long-term channel against seasonal course cycles.
Innovation and AI acceleration – Continuous optimization and testing starting in 2025 to maximize results.
HPC operates in a highly specific segment of the healthcare sector: medical procedure training and CME education. Their ideal customers search differently than general patients, using detailed terms related to specific skills and courses.
Healthcare SEO is particularly demanding because it is a trust-based sector, where users require high-credibility signals, clear results, and a frictionless booking process.
The challenge
A solid site does not automatically convert in healthcare. Enrollments depend on trust, clarity, and frictionless CTAs.
They were not consistently ranking for high-intent keywords linked to their courses.
Valuable educational resources existed, but they were not organized into topic clusters or mapped to the physician's search journey.
The solution
- Crawl and indexation cleanup.
- Clear architecture for courses, evergreen content, and locations.
- Structured data/schema to improve visibility in rich results.
- Speed improvements and Core Web Vitals.
- Topic clusters around clinical intent and course enrollment keywords.
- Content briefs for clinician-oriented educational pages.
- Updating and expanding top-performing content.
- Experience, expertise, authority, and trust signals reinforced on key pages.
- Highlighted clinical credibility: instructors, results, course proof, credentials.
- Strategic link building from relevant health and education sources.
- CTA placement optimization.
- Refined landing pages for greater clarity and trust.
- Better alignment between search intent and on-page experience.
- Early detection of changes in search behavior.
- Acceleration of content updates and expansions.
- Prioritization of SEO tasks by predicted conversion impact.
Before and after Kala
HPC had a great reputation and excellent courses, but organic visibility relied heavily on branded searches and returning students. Many high-intent physician queries related to procedure training were not being captured consistently.
We built a clear ecosystem of keywords and content around healthcare SEO topics and clinical intent searches, improving visibility for both core course queries and evergreen learning topics.
Traffic was growing, but enrollments were not scaling at the same rate. Users reached valuable content without always finding a smooth path toward course registration.
After aligning SEO with conversion journeys and trust signals, conversions increased by 65% in the first year. As the partnership evolved, we incorporated AI-assisted CRO testing to accelerate experimentation.
Visitors arrived from informational pages without clear next steps. Internal linking and page hierarchy did not effectively guide the user from education to course discovery.
We restructured the journeys so that clinicians would flow naturally through topic clusters toward the most relevant courses, with clearer CTAs and better intent matching.
